Hi Layna,

Congratulations on your new position and your progress!

I don't have any seminars coming up at the moment, but I do from time to time, as well as continually work with my clients to teach and have them master the "AWARE Sales System" that I've developed over the past five years from the top sales and marketing experts in the world, and distilled down the best of each in to the bare bones of what works easily and effectively.

It gets people to "yes" very quickly in a win-win approach so you're not selling, but you're helping your prospects get what they want most while making the decision to buy. So they are extremely happy with their decision, and your closing rate goes way up.

In a very short time, it can take beginners to good, and take good sales people to superstars.

If you would like to chat for a short bit, perhaps I can offer some tips or ideas for you.

Feel free to call or email.

All the best,
I am a pioneer at my dealership. I am the first female sales consultant and have been there 2 months. I am keeping up with the seasoned sales consultants and am on track to outsell them this month. Other than product training and word tracks, I have been seeking out my own training. Does anyone have any suggestions is improving my skills or training CDs, or seminars?

Yee-Ling,

It is all about preference, "yours" to be exact. All 4-cylinder engines are the most fuel efficient. The newer the car the more efficient it will be; but there are some tricks to keeping any vehicle running smoothly which is a big part of how much gas it drinks per mile. Regular tune-ups, oil changes and tire inflation maintenance as well as the tread depth. Don't forget about the transmission if the transmission isn't working properly the gears don't shift at the proper speeds causing your engine to work harder and burn more oil and fuel.

And most importantly how you drive. Maintaining a relatively safe speed on long drives, not using your Air Conditioning and no hard stops and fast gos will help keep your fuel waste low. Elizabeth; Vehicle Remarketing Specialist

Hello Sara,

Whether you purchase a rental or a dealer car makes no difference to the car. It is all about you. Things to consider are similar to that when buying a used car off the street; do your research. My car now has over 165,000 miles and though it now is starting to run rough it was a rental and I paid just above fair trade in '04 with 50k miles. A used car in any lot has had a previous owner. A dealer may offer an additional warranty and always offers financing.

Hi Darren,

Older Cadis are hard to find on a dealers lot, but can still be found. Where you look depends on the year, model and condition. Are you planning on restoring, repairing to get around or resell, or part only? These factors will help find the right place to go for a Cadillac. Elizabeth; Vehicle Remarketin Specialist.

RE: Esther Dyson Editorial in the WSJ

I did see the article and found it very interesting. Social networks (like this very one!) are definitely one of the hottest trends online and I think the automakers are going to put more and more effort towards social media. That being said, where I think dealers will find their best opportunities online will continue to remain in targeted direct response advertising, particularly the search engines. A recent study shows 73% of internet sessions start at a search engine, which is an amazing number. I say this because when search engine marketing is done right the ROI story is unbelievably compelling and in most cases the most efficient and cost effective channel out there. The dealers we work with that are using our services for search engine marketing find the cost per lead to be very low and the quality of those leads to be very high, since people are already searching terms that we've worked with the dealer to identify as good prospects. And the costs to get started are very low as well particualrly when compared to radio, TV and print. I'm curious, if you are a dealer are you trying search engine marketing and are you seeing great results? If you are a consumer are you like most others starting your search for a car online these days?

I think it definately indicates where things are going - I was going to do ablog on it; does anyone have any thoughts on how it relates to the car business?
